Mind training

Now this was a great read! This is far from a self help books I've grown accustomed to. This book taught me how to tap in to my own mind and thoughts. Basically rewired my train of thought as it relates to my emotions and overall mood. I have seen an improvement in how others relate to me because of my ability to hone in on and resolve my "inner turmoil". Great book. I have suggest it to a few friends and family members.

Kissing Negative Thought Patterns "Good-Bye"

James Ashley has put together a very good book on how to overcome very common (and some uncommon) problems anyone may be struggling with. From depression, anxieties, worries, etc., Cognitive and Dialectical Behavior Therapy provided me with some highly handy techniques to enrich my life and take control through the power of mindfulness.
I learned within the book the vast difference between Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. The latter targets the psychological facets of behavior versus Cognitive Behavior Therapy the focuses on negative thinking patterns. Very informative read with techniques that you can start using immediately and Ashley even breaks down goal setting in a way I have never thought of before.
Looking forward to kissing negative thought patterns "good-bye" and creating more positive mojo by applying the tips in this book. Two thumbs up!

Well balanced between scientific/ informational and straightforward 'real'. Much smaller and easier to read than I thought it would be. I bought the book for my step-son after listening to the audiobook. Don't think He's read it yet. It helped me understand him.
